What Is ABI?

Anchor Bible Institute (ABI) exists to provide structured, church-based biblical education for believers who desire to deepen their faith, grow in spiritual maturity, and gain confidence in handling the Word of God. Designed for every Christian—not just pastors or ministers—ABI seeks to strengthen biblical literacy, establish believers in sound doctrine, develop spiritual discipline and discernment, and equip men and women for effective service, leadership, teaching, and discipleship within the local church and everyday life.

ABI is a two-year program meeting on Thursdays from 6:00–8:00 PM, following the church calendar with breaks for major holidays and seasonal adjustments. The program combines classroom-style Bible instruction with guided discussion, Scripture memorization and reading plans, guest instructors, and practical ministry assignments.

Year One focuses on foundational studies such as hermeneutics, Old and New Testament overviews, basic doctrine, Christian living, apologetics, and understanding the local church, while Year Two emphasizes deeper theological study, church history, leadership, evangelism, discipleship, and hands-on ministry training.

Anchor Bible Institute is open to new believers, seasoned Christians, teachers, ministry leaders, and anyone seeking greater biblical understanding and confidence, with no prior theological training required.

Students who complete the program with faithful attendance and participation will receive a Certificate of Biblical Studies. ABI is anchored in core values that affirm biblical authority (KJV), doctrinal soundness, a strong local church focus, spiritual growth that leads to obedience, and faithfulness of character over personal recognition.
